TESE Editor Search

Posted on October 18 2017

Dear TED Colleagues,

Laurie deBettencourt's term as editor of Teacher Education and Special Education will conclude on December 31, 2018.  We thank Laurie for her excellent service and are now beginning the process of conducting a search for the next TESE editor(s). Nominations for and applications from individuals or teams for the editorship are now being accepted and are to be submitted electronically by January 15, 2018. As you know, TESE is a peer reviewed publication whose purposes are to support the goals of TED and to stimulate thoughtful consideration of the critical issues shaping the future of teacher education.  Application procedures, essential qualifications, and elements to be included in the application package are attached to this email. To facilitate a successful transition, the new editor(s), once selected, will have an opportunity to shadow Laurie for 2018 and begin officially on January 1, 2019.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding the editorship or what is required in the application package.
